Creative Cloud AI video workflows, prompt and camera skills, governed brand production
The gist
Creative and brand design work is shifting from making every asset by hand to directing, governing, and QAing AI-generated production at scale.

Brand Production Shifts from Creation to Governed AI Operations
This week’s releases pushed AI video from experimentation into the day-to-day production stack. Adobe launched Firefly Video inside Creative Cloud, with Generative Extend in Premiere Pro for filling gaps, smoothing transitions, and holding shots longer; it also emphasized photorealistic generation, text and image prompts, camera controls, start and end frames, and clips of about five seconds. Seedance 2.0 combined video and audio generation in one multimodal workflow, while an apparel-focused AI suite added season management, smarter substitutions, style management, and batch creation of campaign imagery and short video from existing product files, claiming output up to about 90% faster than traditional shoots.
Typeface added enterprise AI controls for brand oversight, and a major IP deal enabled licensed use of studio characters and footage in creator and brand video workflows. The pattern is clear: creative teams are moving from AI concepting to AI production infrastructure, where generation, editing, adaptation, and approval happen at scale. For designers, the value shifts from manual asset production to prompt direction, variant orchestration, review discipline, and IP-aware brand control. Expect more motion output, faster approval cycles, and tighter coordination with legal, marketing, and operations.
How should we adapt brand workflows and roles for AI production?
