Agentic CRM Goes Production-Grade, Committee-Level Selling Becomes the New Sales Operating Model
The gist
Sales work shifted from manual CRM and account planning toward AI-run operating systems that change who does the work and which skills matter most.
This week’s developments
Curative’s Salesforce Cutover Shows Agentic Ops Going Production-Grade
Curative reportedly ended a roughly $600,000-a-year Salesforce contract and replaced it in about two months with an internally built AI-assisted CRM; accounts say Salesforce is no longer in use. That is not a pilot story. It is a production cutover, and it shows agentic execution moving from supervised sales tasks into the revenue stack as operating infrastructure.
This week’s other cited deployments point the same way. Workato, Beam AI, Otter.ai, Automation Anywhere, Monday.com, Highspot, Sana Labs, Taskade, Lindy, and Albato were all named in workflows spanning lead research and enrichment, inbound triage, follow-up sequencing, meeting prep, post-call CRM updates, pipeline risk detection, proposal and quote generation, contract routing, signature tracking, and RevOps reporting. The shift is widening beyond governed autonomy inside CRM to workflow-native automation across the sales process, while approvals, accountability, and recordkeeping lag behind. That gap matters as AI-generated records face rising compliance scrutiny.
For sellers and managers, this is the next step beyond last week’s agentic SDR story: the advantage is moving from doing process work to designing, validating, and supervising it. The most valuable skill set is becoming audit-ready workflow design, approval discipline, and exception handling for automated customer and pipeline actions.

Committee-Level Selling Becomes the New Sales Operating Model
Intentsify launched its AI Buying Group Platform this week, turning buying-committee planning from a manual account task into an AI-assisted workflow. The platform identifies solution-specific buying groups, detects persona-level intent and research stage, scores topics to prioritize accounts and contacts, and flags missing personas by job level and function. It then activates those audiences across programmatic, CTV, email, social, and DOOH, while integrating with existing CRM and MAP systems instead of forcing a standalone workflow.
That puts Intentsify in the same direction as Demandbase’s Buying Group AI and reflects a larger shift away from contact-level prospecting toward committee-level orchestration. The market data explains why: Forrester says 60% of purchases now involve four or more people, up from 47% in 2017, and Gartner forecasts that by 2027 AI will start seller research workflows for 95% of sellers, versus less than 20% in 2024.
For sellers, the practical change is clear: the unit of work is moving from the lead or champion to the full committee. Multi-threaded outreach, persona-specific messaging, and early detection of missing stakeholders are becoming core skills, not advanced tactics.
How should we align outreach across seniority levels now?
