Cloudflare, Mod Op, Amplitude, and Adobe make AI visibility an operational testing priority
The gist
AI visibility is moving from abstract monitoring to operational testing, forcing PR teams to prove influence inside answer engines, not just track media mentions.

Cloudflare, Mod Op, Amplitude, and Adobe Push AI Visibility Into Operational Testing
Cloudflare’s AI visibility coverage made the measurement gap concrete: its new dashboard shows whether AI assistants cite, mention, or recommend brands, but it is not a live query log and is limited to Claude and GPT against a category baseline. The underlying study exposed how answer engines favor dominant intermediaries. In quantum computing, 71% of enterprise prompts cited IBM, Google, or Microsoft before pure-play firms, which captured under 9%; consulting firms took 30–35% and tech publications 20–25%. In post-quantum cybersecurity, Cloudflare was cited more often than any quantum hardware company, while the hardware category registered zero citation share on that surface. On Aug. 13, Mod Op launched a free AI Search Visibility Audit for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other answer engines; Amplitude introduced AI Visibility with prompt-level score tracking, rival-topic gap analysis, and source attribution; and Adobe Brand Visibility said it combines Semrush intelligence with access to nearly 300 million real-world AI search prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity AI. For practitioners, this pushes the work beyond governance and into operational testing: teams will need prompt testing, citation auditing, and sharper analysis to explain why search strength or category authority no longer guarantees inclusion in the answers that shape reputation.
