Zoom, Clari, and Salesforce Turn Revenue Orchestration Into an AI Operating System
The gist
This week, RevOps moved from reporting and admin toward real-time orchestration, with AI increasingly shaping coaching, forecasting, and CRM execution inside the workflow.
This week’s developments
Zoom, Clari, and Salesforce Push AI Deeper Into Revenue Orchestration
July 22 marked a clear architectural shift: Zoom added Sales Roleplay to Zoom Revenue Accelerator and expanded AI Sales Coach, live-call prompts, automated scorecards, CRM updates, and follow-up automation. At the same time, Clari and Salesloft pushed real-time conversation AI that turns calls into summaries, coaching items, forecast inputs, and execution tasks inside the tools reps already use. AI is no longer a point feature; it is becoming the layer that routes conversation signals into action across the revenue stack.
That extends the move from reporting to execution into stack orchestration. Salesforce’s Agentforce is the clearest example of a cross-cloud agent and orchestration fabric, while Gong and Clari are moving beyond analytics toward revenue orchestration platforms that connect deal health, forecasting, and execution. In practice, AI-driven workspaces now centralize deal activity so signals can trigger next-best actions, update CRM fields, refine deal health, and feed forecast logic in one flow.
For RevOps, the job shifts from administering fields and reconciling systems to designing permissions, escalation rules, exception handling, and model oversight. Teams that can translate live selling signals into governed automation will protect forecast integrity and improve rep productivity at the same time.
